Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge #1

It's been a while since I posted anything and I'm sorry for that. Sometimes, life gets in the way of my stamping time.

During my hiatus, I was lucky enough to join a group of talented stampers from the Papertrey Ink forum.  I've become a doll!  A Papertrey Paper Doll, that is. We've set up a blog where we'll be having all kinds of challenges. Visit us here.

For our first ever challenge, Laurie Beth came up with a cool sketch for us to use.

I made a few cards before I was finally happy with this one. The new Enjoy the Ride set is so awesome!

I cut out the window and placed a piece of acetate behind it. I cut my paper with the Mat Stack #1 die and also ran it through the Cuttlebug using my Polka Dots impression plate.

My favorite part of the car are the headlights. I used clear skittles. Don't they look great! They really give the car that extra dimension.

Hope you enjoyed my card. Come on over to the Papertrey Paper Dolls blog and join the fun. You have until Wednesday night to link up your project before the next challenge is issued. Go at it!

All supplies used are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise specified.
Stamps:  Enjoy the Ride, BB-Tin Types
Paper:  Sweet Blush, Pretty Pastels, Orchid Opulence (SU), Pale Plum (SU),
Ink:  Sweet Blush, Tuxedo Black (Memento), Orchid Opulence (SU), Copic markers
