Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Yes, I know it's been a loooong time since my last post for which I am sorry.  There's just not enough minutes in a day to do all the things that need to be done.

Surprisingly, I found a few minutes to make a card for this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

This month's challenge is to create a card with a black background.

My card is simple and didn't take long to make.  I die-cut the negative image of my Happy Hydrangea die out of the black card stock and adhered it to a white card stock base.  I then stamped the hydrangea onto the white base. The sentiment was heat embossed in white. Last, I added a die-cut bow and some bling.

Here's a close-up.

Thanks for taking a look.

  7. Wow--you don't list too many steps to make this card, but it is so beautiful. I can't believe it is that simple. That flower and the embossed sentiment really pack a huge punch.
